Pastor Mike/Reverend Michael Irvine
Pastor
The Reverend Michael Irvine, or Pastor Mike, joined the Crossroads church family in February 2025. Pastor Mike brings a rich history of serving as pastor in Methodist churches in Indiana, as well as Missouri. Pastor Mike and his family have fit right in our little small town Dexter and they look forward to becoming involved in the community. Each Sunday Pastor Mike delivers a message relevant to today’s world and based in Scripture. Pastor Mike and his wife, Sharon, and two of their four adult children, Brandon and Andrew, are a fantastic bunch of people. Come and meet them today!
Zenita Smith
Administrative Assistant
Zenita started as the Administrative Assistant in the spring of 2024. She has been an amazing addition to the Crossroads team. Zenita lives in Essex, MO and keeps busy working, substitute teaching and cheerleading for her children and grandchildren!
Mary Ruth Boone
Director of Music
Mary Ruth has been with Crossroads since it began in 2023, and had been with the Church when it was UMC for over 30 years. Mary Ruth is the heart of the music ministry at Crossroads. She has directed the Chancel Choir throughout her service with the Church and continues to do so. In 2022 she brought a dream of hers to life and created the Southeast Missouri Regional Community Choir, reaching out to adults and young adults throughout the region to share their talents in summer and Holiday performances. These seasonal shows are nothing short of spectacular! As we evolve as a Church, Mary Ruth has been at the forefront of introducing a blend of new and traditional music during our worship service, that offers praise and singing for everyone.
